Dr. David Moore
Dr. David D. Moore is the Executive Director of International Education at Broward College (BC) in Fort Lauderdale, FL, a post he has held since July of 2018; previously, he was the AVP for International Education (2005-14) and later the Dean for IE (14-18). At BC he is responsible for all international programming including the creation and development of academic affiliations, international centers, articulations, and exchanges with colleges and universities overseas. Currently, Broward College has more than 13 active partnerships throughout South America, Asia and Europe. He also oversees the international student recruitment and admissions efforts of the college, study abroad and the Center for Global Education and Commerce.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Dr. Moore taught history on the college level for 25 years at two institutions. He holds the BA in education from Clearwater Christian College and both the MA in history and the Ph.D. in higher education from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Moore serves Broward College as the BC liaison to the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and School (SACSCOC). He is the President of the Florida Consortium for International Education (since 2015) and the former Vice-Chair of the College Consortium for International Studies in Washington, DC (2014-18). |
