Madison Smith ,the young artist

BIOGRAPHY

Madison Smith is a newly discovered artist who is 17 years old and goes to Dallas Christian High School in Mesquite Texas. She is the Founder and CEO of her company, MDSARTWORX. Madison is making a name for herself for her versatility, working with various media techniques. Madison's work and her creative process emanate from her strong religious background and her vivid imagination.

In 2021 Madison placed second in the DFW- NAACP- (ACT-SO) art competition and received Honorable Mention by the International Conference on Stigma Art. In 2022 she placed FIRST in the DFW- NAACP- (ACT-SO) art competition.

Additionally she has partnered with the Sly Cat Art Gallery in Cedar Hill TX to exhibit her work.

She is an active volunteer in her community. Her efforts extend to multiple organizations including local Churches and Nursing Homes. Madison loves working with youth and often tutors and mentors fellow students and underclassmen.

Madison is honored to have an opportunity to work with Tina Weiss (founder of Hugs and Smiles Children's Foundation). Madison shares Ms. Weiss' passion for kids and giving back to the community. Working with Ms. Wiess is a joy because of her determination to help children from every age and every upbringing. Being a part of Hugs and Smiles has been enlightening and has allowed Madison to use her talents to benefit young people. She looks forward to helping children from all backgrounds expand their universe through the arts.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Participants pay $100 membership for all 5 dance classes for the year. Art class membership is $80 for 4 classes. Donations for individual classes are $20. Donations support our on-going online programs and events. Any amount is appreciated.

1. All children we have been working with on and offline the last 3.5 years will have the opportunity to be in our Hugs and Smiles Children's YOUTUBE SHOW starting Fall 2022.
